Thoughts by the bench :
As we reach this point, it would be fitting to pause, to remember those fathers, uncles, brothers, and dear friends, with whom we can no longer " Tee it Up ". A brief sigh will soon be followed by a warm recollection of how, in so many ways, these remarkable men have enhanced our lives. Remembering that, together, we have had more triumphs than defeats, and more laughs than tears, in sharing a love for a game which all to often didn't love us back. It is not meant as a shrine, rather as a lasting useful symbol, offered to all who pass. A definitive reminder of how they lived their lives.
